Established in 2011, Hattery is a shared work studio in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood, where an unparalleled community of entrepreneurs promise to make purpose-driven impacts in the fields of technology and design. Our dynamic office and hardware lab promote a culture of innovation, craft, and the exchange of powerful ideas. Our events bring key influencers, creators, policymakers, and the brightest minds into our space. And our kitchen is the heart of our community, where we gather each day to share a delicious, seasonal, organic lunch made by our in-house culinary team.
In April 2015, Hattery joined the 1776 family. Launched in 2013, 1776 is a global entrepreneurial hub supporting the most promising high-growth startups in sectors that deeply affect millions of lives—such as education, health, energy, transportation, and smart cities. More than 320 member startups receive access to workshops, classes, and a global network of mentors. 1776 is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and also operates incubators in Arlington, VA and San Francisco, CA (Hattery). In addition to its incubators and programming, 1776 manages a seed-stage venture fund, a media arm, the Startup Federation network of like-minded incubators around the world, and a global startup competition called the Challenge Cup.
On our path to relaunching as 1776 SF in early 2016, we’re looking for bright, talented, and motivated individuals who want to make an impact. Together, we’ll enable a more exceptional world through fostering collaborative, considered, and innovative entrepreneurship.
