Dimple is a Fund Principal at Hattery. She believes that the nexus of people, design and technology can lead to great impact.
Named after a famous Indian actress, Dimple grew up in a bilingual, bicultural environment splitting her time between Minnesota and India. She brings over 15 years of experience in investment banking, technology entrepreneurship, emerging markets, and venture capital in the US and India.
Prior to joining Hattery, Dimple was a Kauffman Fellow and venture capitalist at firms including L Capital, the Omidyar Network and Unilever Corporate Ventures. She is a true generalist having worked across multiple sectors and stages globally.
Earlier in her career, Dimple worked in cleantech as a strategic consultant to Earth Water Group in India. During the first tech boom, she cofounded Epylon.com, an IT services company directed at the public sector, which was sold to Accenture in 2001. Dimple began her career at Goldman Sachs working in both investment banking and sales & trading.
She has an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA in both Economics and South Asian studies from the University of Chicago.
Dimple enjoys the distinction of having the shortest commute to Hattery and says the five things she can’t live without are: spicy food, quick wit, 80′s music, her passport, and anything that smells like roses.
